Taking the approach of a 90s-era Japanese 'concept store', Hellish Materials focuses primarily on cult 90s/00s Japanese labels and Antwerp 6-adjacent Belgian designers. We strive to emulate the legendary boutiques of the lost generation and post-bubble economy of early Heisei-period Tokyo, a digital simulacra of something you may have stumbled upon in a hidden alleyway in Omotesando Hills or Aoyama.

Our archives seek to be a time capsule mediated via print media and physical garments. Ultimately we believe in the power of archives, regenerative fashion and the cyclical lives of garments.
