Veronique Branquinho

Graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 1995, Veronique Branquinho quickly established herself as a leading voice in Belgian fashion's second wave. After early stints at Natan, Neuf sans Neuf, and Miu Miu, she launched her namesake label in 1998, gaining international attention for her darkly romantic, gothic-inspired collections.

Her work, influenced by Belgian predecessors like Ann Demeulemeester and cinematic visions like David Lynch, combined moody femininity with minimalist precision, minting a uniquely feminine, romantic Belgian vision.
