Born in 1970, Xavier Delcour is a self-taught Belgian designer who emerged from Brussels’ underground nightlife, channeling its theatrical, glam-rock energy into his work. After early experiences in the city’s club scene, he gained recognition by winning the Hyères award for Best Men’s Collection in 1995, leading to the launch of his label and his first full menswear collection, Black Diamond (1999).

Working alongside partner Didier Vervaeren, Delcour developed a distinct vision of decadent, sexually charged menswear defined by sharp tailoring, leather, and fluid accessories. Showing in Paris in the early 2000s, his work stood apart for its unfiltered expression of male sexuality and its refined yet provocative approach to glamour.
