Founded in 1992 by Masahiro Nakagawa and Rika “LICA” Azechi, 20471120 emerged from Tokyo with a vision that fused fashion, performance, and pop culture. After debuting as BELLISSIMA, the duo rebranded in 1995 and quickly gained recognition for theatrical runway shows staged as immersive, large-scale events.

Blending clothing with narrative and spectacle, 20471120 drew heavily on anime, tokusatsu, and subcultural references, most notably through their mascot HYOMA. Their work expanded fashion beyond garments into storytelling and performance, establishing the label as one of the most inventive and unconventional forces in late-1990s Japanese fashion.
