Military field jacket from Antwerp designer Dirk Schönberger. Constructed from a heavy cotton twill in a muted tobacco brown, the jacket features an off-center single-breasted placket, structured stand collar, and pleats running down the front and rear of the garment, tacked down beneath quilted black fabric patches.
German-born and Cologne-raised, Dirk Schönberger studied at ESMOD Munich before working as a design assistant to fellow Cologne native Dirk Bikkembergs. He launched his own Antwerp-based line in 1998 that was deeply influenced by Japanese deconstruction in the tradition of Comme des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto.
