Now over 30 years old, the invitation, crafted on a steel plate press, features the designers' inimitable logo on the front and show details on the back, reading like an indestructible, neolithic business card. The collection presentation was held Saturday 29 January 1994 at 12 Rue Alexandre Parodi, described as "the most underground location Paris could offer".
The show also featured the debut of his first womenswear collection, shown side by side with the mens' collection. Men's pajamas were an overaching inspiration and theme throughout the collection, rendred in glossy satin and blue cotton, and layered under heavy wool and leather outer pieces and trousers.
